What matters for small london flats
- Measure the stored size as well as the size in use.
- Leave room for opening doors, ventilation and working clearance.
- Compare multifunction kit against a simpler item you already own.
These listings are a starting point. Matching a shopper-related keyword does not establish suitability; check each product against your requirements.
How to choose home & cleaning
Match the cleaner to the surface and the task. Concentration, dosage and the cost of a usable refill matter more than an attractive bottle or a vague eco claim.
| Check before buying | Why it matters | Trade-off or limit |
|---|---|---|
| Surface compatibility and dilution | Read the directions for stone, wood, fabrics and sealed surfaces. | A multipurpose cleaner may not replace a specialist product for every task. |
| Cost per diluted bottle or wash | Account for the stated dose and any reusable bottle you must buy. | A low pack price can hide fewer effective uses. |
| Storage and safety instructions | Check ventilation, child-safe storage and disposal guidance. | Eco-labelled products still need careful handling; never mix cleaning chemicals. |
Common mistake: Do not equate fragrance-free, biodegradable or plant-based wording with harmlessness to people, pets or waterways.
